Tired of bad news? We are, too. Mr. Newman, a 1996 graduate of Harvard Law School, came to investing after working on private-equity deals as an attorney at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago. The former journalism major from the University of Illinois also has an MBA from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.
Mr. Newman says he knows a fancy resume doesn't mean much now. "My track record is really going to become the track record of that fund," he says. |
